The International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD) Promotes Green Business Practices Among MSMEs

On April 17, 2024, the International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD) hosted a significant event aimed at promoting green, sustainable, and innovative practices among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

During Day 4 of the event, Session 4 focused on Green Business Practices, specifically exploring renewable energy options for MSMEs. Participants had the opportunity to learn and apply tips and techniques on assessing and enhancing national trade information portals to provide more relevant and up-to-date information to the trade community. This session was led by Dr. Chandhit Sawangnate, an expert from ITD, along with Mr. Natee Sithiprasasana, Chairman of the Renewable Industry Club and Managing Director of Surat Green Group, Thailand, and Ms. Sirikan Prasertying, Director of International Cooperation at ITD.

Following the informative session, participants engaged in an open floor discussion, exchanging ideas and insights. The session concluded with a wrap-up led by Dr. Chandhit Sawangnate, summarizing key takeaways and insights gained throughout the day.

The event served as a platform for MSMEs to explore and implement sustainable practices, highlighting the importance of green business initiatives in today’s global economy.
