On March 29, 2021, The International Institute for Trade and Development (Public Organization) organized the High – Level Training Course: Strategic Economic Diplomacy at the President 1-2, 4th floor, InterContinental Bangkok Hotel .The training was welcomed by Mr.Manu Sithiprasasana, Executive Director of ITD and presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trairat Pokapalakorn, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ITD.
On this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Chutintorn Gongsakdi, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, gave a presentation in a topic of “Thailand’s Roles and Trends of Proactive Economic Diplomacy: Post COVID-19.
Ms. Kejpiroon Kohsuwan, Deputy Director General of Department of Trade Negotiations, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, spoke on the topic “Opportunities and Challenges: COVID – 19 and Macroeconomic Impacts”.
His Excellency Mr. Kiat Sittheeamorn, Member of Parliament and Vice-Chairperson of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, held an open discussion entitled “Emerging Issues in the Era of COVID-19”.
Lastly, Dr. Mia Mikic, ARTNeT Advisor at Large, presented a panel discussion in a topic of “The State of Asia Economy, Trade, and Investment”.
More than 40 participants, from 23 embassy of Asia-Pacific countries in Thailand, have attended this training course.
