On Friday, October 18, 2024, the International Institute for Trade and Development (Public Organization) or ITD, in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Thammasat Institute of Area Studies (TIARA), the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), and the Centre for WTO Studies, organized an international academic seminar titled “Unlocking Opportunities through IPEF: India-Thailand Supply Chain” (via Zoom). The seminar aimed to support and provide participants with knowledge and insights into opportunities for developing and expanding cooperation in key industries such as automotive, electronics, and food processing. Special focus was given to environmental standards development, workforce skill enhancement, and the application of modern technologies to create resilience in the supply chain.
